When I lost my dad…wow, ah yeah, that was earth bending. And not in a good way. He was a lowkey person so I didn’t have many photos of him, and not many videos.
I was devastated.
My husband and I watch our wedding film every year and guess who comes on?
It’s my dad. Smiling, laughing, his eyes glinting when he delivers a funny joke that’s just for me.
Laughing like he never left.
It was healing.
And now I want to be there for all the raw emotion, happy tears, and endless laughter that you’ll have today, so that you can sit on your couch and watch it tomorrow…Forever.
